The Calgary Genetics & Genomics (G&G) team has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Genetics Technologist I position supporting the Cytogenetic and Molecular Genetic Laboratories located at Alberta Children’s Hospital (home site), with a possibility of rotations through the Genome Core facility at the Arthur J. Child Comprehensive Cancer Center. G&G, as part of Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL), provides complex genetic testing for a broad range of conditions, serving an important role in the provision of genetic services for the province of Alberta. As part of a team, the Clinical Genetics Technologist I will perform a variety of manual and automated procedures proficiently to produce accurate and timely results in the Cytogenetic and/or Molecular Genetic laboratories.
