Responsibilities
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient medical records to accurately capture Severity of Illness (SOI) and Risk of Mortality (ROM).
- Issue compliant physician queries following AHIMA and ACDIS guidelines to resolve documentation gaps and manage the query process through completion.
- Collaborate with Coding and Revenue Integrity teams to support accurate MS-DRG and APR-DRG assignment in accordance with ICD-10 coding guidelines.
