Shaw Brick is seeking a dependable Class 3 Driver to operate a flat-deck delivery truck and a hitch-hiker forklift for our Centre in Dartmouth, NS. This is a full-time delivery position with drivers home daily. Typical shifts are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, depending on delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities & Priorities
- Safely operate a flat-deck truck for daily deliveries to residential homes and construction sites.
- Use a hitch-hiker forklift to accurately load, unload, and transport building materials including brick, concrete, and other palletized products.
- Ensure loads are properly secured before transport.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment and ensure proper vehicle maintenance and safety....
