Responsibilities
- Preparing the lorry for delivery and accurately verifying the contents of inventory loads against load sheet documents.
- Reviewing all delivery instructions to support service standards.
- Completing all documentation promptly and accurately as required.
- Ensuring that the vehicle is loaded safely according to the load document.
- Delivering stock in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensuring that all legislation relating to driving is complied with, including a tacho card.
- Ensuring the vehicle is safe and legal for the road by undertaking and logging routine checks of lights, tyres, oil, water, etc.
Working Hours
45-hour week on an annualised hours scheme (Monday to Friday, with four Saturdays included). Start times vary between 5.30am and 7.30am; finish times from 3pm to 6pm.
