Overview

Our Claims team sets us apart. You will be a Toronto‑based Claims Specialist‑Casualty at AXA XL, working closely with your manager and Claims colleagues to drive files to resolution and collaborate frequently with Underwriting teams. The role focuses on achieving the best possible outcomes for AXA XL and its clients by proactively resolving and settling claims.

Responsibilities

• Assess coverage and prepare relevant correspondence to communicate with brokers and insureds when applicable.
• Provide directions to independent adjusters in investigating claims.
• Evaluate and negotiate timely resolutions on assigned claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with internal and external counsel to set and pursue effective and cost‑efficient litigation strategies for claims in litigation.
