Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that claims are properly handled and settled, and are adequately and suitably reserved
  • Examine claims documents for completeness of requirements and assists in computing claims quantum
  • Follow up on the submission of claims requirements
  • Ensure that motor surveyor, loss adjusters, investigator, recovery agents, solicitors are appropriately appointed to assist in best investigation of a claim for reserving and settlement purpose
  • Approve / validate claims settlement and cheque requisitions within the limit of authority
  • Handle the phone enquiry efficiently and professionally to ensure best claim service being provided when answering the requests and inquiries of claimants / beneficiaries regarding the processing, settlement of claims and explanation for declining claims
