About the role
The Claims Handler will support the manager handling Italian claims related to different lines of business: Marine, Property and Liability, emanating from a Japanese portfolio.
The candidate will report to the Deputy Claims Manager in Belgium, while the office is based in Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling P&C Marine claims for Japanese business.
- Collecting the whole documentation provided by brokers or clients.
- Checking the wording for assessing the coverage.
- Appointing a surveyor if necessary.
- Informing the manager of any development.
- Preparing the settlement proposal.
- Recording all the data in different systems and database.
