Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, the Civil Technician will support the Construction Department in field setting out, surveying, and quality assurance of civil and structural works at the Detour Lake Mine.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain surface models (existing, design, and as‑built) from field data, point clouds, and design alignments to support field setting out and execution of earthworks, drainage, utilities, roadworks, and structural works.
• Compute and reconcile earthwork and material volumes (cut/fill, structural excavation, trench, stockpile, and concrete quantities) for daily, weekly, and month‑end progress reporting, and assist in generating progress and quantity reports.
