Civil Engineer Senior Advisor
Location: Markham, Canada (possible relocation to downtown Toronto)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and calculations of nuclear-related structures and buildings subject to internal and external hazards.
- Anticipate problems and project needs related to civil engineering.
- Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings.
- Direct teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
- Perform structural analyses using FEM code.
- Participate actively in dynamic analysis of nuclear structures and components for hazards such as earthquake, gas explosion, tornado, plane crash, and high wave impact.
