Join the City of Vancouver as a Building Code Engineer and contribute to our environmental goals. This regular full-time role involves making independent technical interpretations and decisions on critical by-law applications.
In this position, you will work within the Development, Buildings & Licensing department, overseeing sprinkler permit processes and ensuring compliance with the Vancouver Building By-law and the Fire By-law. A degree in engineering and extensive experience with building codes will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Sprinkler Permit process and issuance
