Responsibilities
- Evaluate mobility, balance, gait, and posture.
- Examine the patient.
- Observe the patient during treatment.
- Diagnose disorders of the spine and other body joints.
- Adjust the position of displaced vertebrae and other articulations using manipulative therapy.
- Advise patients on corrective exercises, lifestyle, and nutrition.
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP.
- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and Provincial Licensing Body Examination.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
- Work setting: Clinic (private clinic).
