Responsibilities

  • Evaluate mobility, balance, gait, and posture.
  • Examine the patient.
  • Observe the patient during treatment.
  • Diagnose disorders of the spine and other body joints.
  • Adjust the position of displaced vertebrae and other articulations using manipulative therapy.
  • Advise patients on corrective exercises, lifestyle, and nutrition.

Qualifications

  • Education: College/CEGEP.
  • Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and Provincial Licensing Body Examination.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
  • Work setting: Clinic (private clinic).
