Chilliwack Summer Learning Coding Instructor

Teach Coding for Kids at Chilliwack Secondary School during the Summer Learning session. This special project assignment is scheduled from July 6 to July 17, 2026.
As a Summer Learning Teacher, you'll guide Grade 4 and 5 students in computational thinking. Your role will emphasize assessment design and collaboration with colleagues. You will also support students experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in coding fundamentals
• Develop and evaluate student assessments
• Facilitate parental involvement in education
• Exhibit strong classroom management skills
• Collaborate effectively with other educators
Requirements:
• Professional qualifications in education
• Successful summer learning teaching experience
• Knowledge of Ministry of Education’s standards
• Ability to engage students in coding
• Experience with behavioral challenges
