Chief Estimator We are looking for a Chief Estimator at PME Inc. (part of the EllisDon group), with a strong background in construction estimates for varied project types and delivery methods.
Experience in creating and monitoring construction estimates across a variety of project types and delivery methods, including lump sum, unit rate, time and material construction management and design build with the ability to lead a team in the preparation of estimates for major projects
Manage and administer department functions including operating budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, performance evaluations, etc.
Effectively determine the bid strategies required for the company to be successful as well as plan and coordinate and supervise large projects.
Review all final estimate packages to insure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation.
Manage people and look after the bids.
