Responsibilities
- Prepare meals and follow establishment recipes
- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment such as knives, pans, and food scales
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, mixing ingredients, and cooking food in a timely manner
- Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
- Inform staff about daily specials
- Ensure appealing plate presentation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect among co-workers, coaching Kitchen Helpers for optimum output
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- College level
- Diploma in Culinary Science or related certificate
- Proven experience as a Cook
- At least 2 years of working experience in a full-service restaurant...
