Job Description
- A Chef Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a restaurant, hotel, or other food service establishment. They ensure that food is prepared to high standards, maintain kitchen organization, manage kitchen staff, and ensure food safety and cleanliness.
- Proven experience as a chef or cook
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Culinary degree or relevant certification (preferred)
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory and ordering supplies
