OSM Thome is looking for a Chief Cook (C/C) for a car carrier trading worldwide. Join us on board and take charge of the galley, providing good, safe and tasty meals for an international crew.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Plan and prepare daily meals for officers and crew
- Ensure food quality, hygiene and safe handling at all times
- Manage galley stores, provisioning and stock control
- Keep galley and messrooms clean, orderly and shipshape
- Follow company standards and assist with any inspections
- **Requirements**:
- Seagoing experience as Chief Cook, preferably on car carriers or similar vessels
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fit for sea duty
- Good knowledge of international and Asian crew meals
- Strong focus on safety, hygiene and teamwork
- Good English communication skills
