Responsible for supervising the daily activities of assigned inspectors and performing complex inspections. DUTIES Prioritize and assign workload to building inspectors to facilitate the efficient use of time and resources. Coordinate safety meetings and in-house training. Manage after-hour inspections and emergency inspections. Regularly accompany inspectors to evaluate performance on construction sites, providing guidance to ensure consistency. Provide interpretation of City codes and adopted standards and reviews code revisions. Provide departmental reports, including but not limited to, work performance reports, third party and engineering reports as appropriate.
