About the Role
A Day in Your Life at MKS: The Chemist will perform research and/or development in collaboration with others to complete science-based projects. In this role, you will report to the Lab & Quality Control Manager. The Chemist will support the laboratory and perform testing for customers as per standard methods, maintain laboratory results in the TCSP (SAP) system, manage chemical inventory levels, maintain equipment, calibrate as needed, liaise with team to achieve departmental objectives, support ISO documentation, ensure housekeeping and safety standards, and ensure visitors follow HSE rules. Participation in health, safety, and environment promotional activities, risk assessment and near miss reporting rounds out the core responsibilities, with ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
