  • Handles samples and performs analyses according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodology.
  • Maintains and verifies equipment.
  • Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methods.
  • Identifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests.

Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving

  • Uses well‑defined methods and procedures as guidelines for work tasks (e.g., maintaining records, processing reports, etc.).
  • Modifies or changes established methods and procedures as approved by the supervisor, staying within prescribed standards.
  • Documents any approved changes on tracking forms or SOP change request forms.
  • Identifies fundamental problems for major functions.
