Job Functions
- Handles samples and performs analyses according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodology.
- Maintains and verifies equipment.
- Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Maintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methods.
- Identifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests.
Analytical Thinking / Problem Solving
- Uses well‑defined methods and procedures as guidelines for work tasks (e.g., maintaining records, processing reports, etc.).
- Modifies or changes established methods and procedures as approved by the supervisor, staying within prescribed standards.
- Documents any approved changes on tracking forms or SOP change request forms.
- Identifies fundamental problems for major functions.
