GFL Ottawa is looking for chemical technicians to support our liquid waste processing facility!
Key Responsibilities
- Go out to clients’ sites to inventory, pack, and remove their chemical wastes.
- Prepare shipments of hazardous and non-hazardous waste containers for transport.
- Receive all client waste – both bulk liquids/solids and containerized.
- Take samples from waste vehicles and containers for lab analysis.
- Ensure waste is processed in a timely and safe manner.
- Ensure incoming waste conforms with acceptance protocol.
- Ensure safe operation and procedures are always followed.
- Complete paperwork properly & ensure it is submitted.
- Complete job hazard risk assessments
- Ensure superior customer service is provided.
- Notify the Shift Supervisor/General Manager of any defects, damages, mistakes, errors, contamination, spills, other incidents, or accidents that are identified. <...
