Position Summary
The Chef/Kitchen Supervisor leads daily kitchen operations in a long-term care environment, delivering high-quality food service while supporting a resident-centered (person-directed) approach. This role ensures residents’ preferences are reflected in meal service and fosters a positive dining experience.
Qualifications
- Certificate in Culinary Arts (or equivalent)
- 1-2 years leadership experience in a healthcare/long-term care preferred
- Red Seal certification is an asset
- Ability to lead teams and build positive relationships
- Adaptable, organized, and committed to quality care
- Excellent communication and effective problem‑solving skills
- Detail‑orientated and self‑motivated
