Job Purpose:
The Chef de Partie plays a key role in leading a specific section of the kitchen. Responsible for supervising and supporting junior staff, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization. This mid-level position reports to the Sous Chef and is essential for the smooth operation of daily kitchen service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a designated section (Hot or Cold) in the kitchen and ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Supervise and train Commis Chefs and other junior staff within your section.
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
