Chassis Development Engineer (San Juan Del Río)

Role Overview

The Chassis D&R Engineer is responsible for component and system level design, development, validation, timing and production release of the following areas: Suspension and steering components.

Basic Qualifications

• 0 to 1 year of experience related to reviewing, validating, and releasing designs for automotive components (chassis components).
• CATIA V5/3DX or NX (for 3D/2D model review).
• PLM (Teamcenter) (documentation and release management).

Knowledge

• Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
• Manufacturing processes.
• PBOM, eBOM, DVP&R, and technical sheets management.

Language

Intermediate-advanced English (technical comprehension and international team communication).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.
• Knowledge of style freeze processes and theme evaluation.
