Job Description

The Certified Technician, Structural Repair is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the aircraft’s structure

Responsibilities

• Inspects, evaluates, repairs, modifies and welds the metal parts and/or composites of the aircraft to a standard of airworthiness in accordance with the applicable company maintenance control manuals and Transport Canada regulation;
• Orders the necessary parts and insures follow-up on them with Technical Purchasing;
• Works closely with the maintenance technicians to keep all aircraft systems operational;
• Completes for all parts and structure maintenance carried out, all paperwork required by the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Aircraft Services Maintenance Control Manual (MCM) and Maintenance Policy MPM;
