Certified Heavy Duty Mechanic

Position located in High Level, Alberta at the largest sawmill. We rely on certified heavy duty mechanics to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair mobile equipment to keep the mill running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid Interprovincial ticket and experience as a heavy duty mechanic.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematics and consistently follow work processes and procedures.
• Proactive in recognizing opportunities for improvement and cost‑savings.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Applications from third‑year apprentices with the required skills and commitment are welcomed.
