Certification & Qualification Engineer

Scope: Programs and Projects within AHE Airworthiness & Configuration Department.

Responsibilities

• Classification of changes to the type certificate and repairs.
• Preparation of Certification & Qualification Plans for new variants or product changes.
• Identification of applicable requirements.
• Propose means of compliance and compliance evidences.
• Lead negotiations with Airworthiness Authorities and Qualification Agencies to demonstrate compliance while preserving company interests.
• Approve minor changes / repairs when applicable.
• Lead approval of Flight Conditions / Permit to Fly processes, including military ones (CAE process).
• Validate / approve changes to Flight Manuals, ICAs and OSDs.
