CERN IT Network Technician

We are looking for an IT Network Technician to join the Deployment and Operations section of the Communication Systems group in the IT Department, providing hands‑on support for infrastructure rollout and upgrade projects during the exciting long shutdown period of the CERN accelerator complex.

In this role, you will work closely with internal network engineers, technicians and external contractors to ensure the smooth execution of cabling installations and the deployment of active network equipment such as routers and switches across CERN's campus and experimental facilities.

Eligibility criteria:

• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Technical diploma in the IT field (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma .
