About ENDOMET
ENDOMET is a deep‑tech biotech project backed by the University of Granada, developing MVP11, a first‑in‑class small molecule that restores mitochondrial energy by activating endogenous Coenzyme Q (CoQ) biosynthesis. The project seeks an entrepreneurial CEO to join the founding team and lead the creation of the spin‑off.
CoQ deficiency underlies many rare diseases that impair mitochondrial energy production. Current therapy relies on exogenous CoQ10 supplementation, which has limited bioavailability. ENDOMET’s small molecule reaches mitochondria and stimulates endogenous CoQ biosynthesis, offering a therapeutic restoration rather than supplementation.
