Job Description
The CCTV Tech is primarily responsible for the remote configuration, testing, and maintenance of CCTV systems and related network components, ensuring optimal video quality, data retention, and minimal downtime.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage configuration of offline CCTV cameras, Network Video Recorders, and related components.
- Analyze camera placements and cabling based on company requirements.
- Configure IP cameras, assign network addresses, and integrate them into monitoring platforms.
- Perform routine inspections and ensure vendors comply with preventive maintenance standards.
- Supervise compliance of CCTV vendors from installation through ongoing maintenance.
- Review and revise CCTV layouts submitted by Site Planning.
- Maintain accurate records of CCTV tech activities for data analytics purposes.
