What you will do
Johnson Controls is currently hiring a Procurement Category Manager . In this role, the person is responsible for maximizing procurement leverage across the entire global portfolio of JCI products businesses, service business and functions. This role is within the Indirect Procurement Professional Services group.
How you will do it
- Develop and lead implementation of global category procurement strategies for assigned Indirect Procurement Corporate Services categories
- Lead both traditional and non-traditional supplier procurement activities, ensuring timely execution and focusing upon integral and regional solutions which improve services and reduce costs
- Facilitate supplier procurement process and negotiations relative to business requirements and cost, maximizing JCI’s leverage and negotiation position
