The **Regional Category Buyer**is responsible to develop and execute the sourcing strategies for all assigned parts in collaboration, and in-line with, Aptiv's global category strategy.The Reginal Category Buyer will be responsible for managing the assigned Suppliers' performance, including but not limited to delivery, costs, quality, and for supporting quotes for new business-pursuits while adhering to Aptiv's processes, procedures and meeting or exceeding assigned business' financial targets.
**2.Main tasks and responsibilities**- Negotiate Material Performance to meet annual targets, material to revenue ratio and business case financials.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers to review performance to targets, address performance gaps, develop future projects and discuss strategic alignment between Supplier and APTIV.
