The Category Analyst is crucial in supporting the planning and execution of sales targets, analyzing sales data, coordinating demand planning for new collections, managing inventory effectively, and conducting competitor checks. They work closely with departments such as Sales, Creative, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Production, Quality Control, and Distribution to ensure alignment and optimize performance.
What You’ll Do
- Target Setting:
- Assist in setting monthly sales targets based on historical sales trends per month per class category and store performance.
- Sales Data Analysis:
- Monitor sell-through of all collections launched within the past six months.
- Generate monthly sales reports for assigned categories.
- Demand Planning and Execution for New Collections:
- Collaborate in proposing collection budgets based on historical sales trends.
