Casting Local Actors for Work in Progress

Be part of an engaging short film, Work in Progress, by casting local actors to bring its rich characters to life. This volunteer role offers a unique opportunity to explore themes of masculinity and fatherhood.
Set against the backdrop of Cameron Read's emotional struggle, the film captures his journey before fatherhood while he wrestles with his upbringing. We are recruiting local talent from Ottawa, Smiths Falls, Perth, and Lanark for approximately seven days of shooting, beginning mid-June. As a non-union project, all meals and transportation will be covered, ensuring you enjoy your time on set.
