Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Assist customers with returns, exchanges, and product inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Restock impulse-buy items and bag merchandise efficiently
- Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with team members and assist with other duties as needed (e.g., stocking, cleaning, holiday wrapping)
- Provide quick and courteous service during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
