- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and issue receipts to customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Ensure the accuracy of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies and ensuring the register area is tidy.
- Assist with bagging and packaging purchases as necessary.
- Promote and upsell store products or services to customers when appropriate.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in cashiering or customer service (preferred).
