Job Description
- Process customer purchases accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and digital payments securely.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide excellent service.
- Balance cash drawers and report discrepancies to management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
