Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and issue receipts to customers accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods securely.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, assisting with inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Bag, package, or wrap purchased items for customers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies.
- Monitor cash levels in the register and notify supervisors of any discrepancies.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift and prepare accurate daily sales reports.
