Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and responding to inquiries
- Processing payments such as cash, credit cards, debit cards, and gift cards
- Counting the contents of cash register drawers at the start and end of shifts
- Balancing cash drawers by counting cash, checks and vouchers
- Maintaining cleanliness of checkout areas
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Updating POS system with pricing changes as needed
- Resolving customer complaints in a timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
- Strong numerical and organizational skills
- Ability to provide accurate change
- Experience in the use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
