Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Handle cash float, petty cash, invoices and daily sales deposits
- Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately
- Accept payments via cash, card or other digital methods
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits and provide correct change
- Maintain adequate change and keep the cash area tidy and organized
- Take phone orders and respond to queries regarding menu and reservations
- Assist with food delivery to tables and clearing of plates
- Ensure all areas of the restaurant remain clean and presentable
