Case Worker, Assessment & Service Connect (ASC)

The Role

The Families and Young People Services Team currently have a vacancy for a Permanent Full-time Case Worker, Assessment & Service Connect (ASC) to join the team in supporting the Ipswich Region. 

As a Caseworker in Assessment & Service Connect, you will be responsible for quality service delivery to children, young people, families and the community within the Assessment & Service Connect (ASC) service. This will entail actively engaging individuals and families as co-responders with the DCYJMA during Investigations and Assessments to support the assessment of safety, risk and needs of children in the home and provide information, advice and in some cases brief casework responses to families with a view to linking them to relevant and accessible supports and appropriate interventions.
