Responsibilities
- Responsible for construction of our projects to a high-quality standard
- Maintain professional safety and behaviour standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Determine specifications and estimate required materials and costs
- Rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, appliance installation, fixture and hardware installation, door and window framing and installation, shower installations
- Perform quality control inspections
- Supervise helpers and provide training as needed
- A basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC rough‑ins; tiling, hardwood and siding installations
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience
- Completion of secondary school
- Ability to read and build from blueprints and drawings
- Ability to work individually with minimal supervision
