Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking local Journeyperson Carpenters for work at our Hays Ridge School Project in Edmonton, AB.
- Schedule rotation: Monday - Friday
- Benefits and RRSP provided as per collective agreement
- Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Experience working at heights with shoring and gang forms
- Slab and footing formwork with DOKA
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and/or roof systems
- Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
