Carpenter
Location: 718 Eaton Way, Annacis Island, Delta, BC V3M 6J9
Remuneration and Benefits:
- Salary: $37.80 per hour for 35-40 hours per week.
- 4% vacation pay of gross salary each pay period.
- Overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate after 40 hours of work per week.
- Extended medical health benefits after 90 days of service.
Responsibilities:
- Construct, erect, install, maintain and repair structures and components made of wood.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes using measuring tools.
- Build cabinets, doors, windows and other wood structures.
