Job Summary
JCL INC is looking for one (1) Carpenter (Form Setter) to join our Calgary team. This is a permanent position and is conducted in English.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials
- Supervise employees on site
- Form foundation footings and make ready for concrete pouring
- Form foundation walls using dura form forming system and make ready for concrete
- Strip forms from walls and return to cages
Education
- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of apprenticeship or other Carpenter training is an asset
Compensation
$32.12 per hour for 30-40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times earnings at each pay interval.
