Requirements
- Languages: English (required)
- Languages: Hindi, Panjabi, Urdu (asset languages)
- Education: Secondary high school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in related field
- Location: On site; must be present at physical location; no remote option
- Work authorization: Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or temporary resident with a valid work permit. Not authorized to work in Canada will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
