Location: Wetaskiwin and Red Deer

Hours of Work: 36.25 hours per week (Monday to Friday); after hours/on call may be required.

Classification: Human Services Worker 5

Salary: $2,872.21 to $3,712.88 bi‑weekly ($74,964 to $96,906/year)

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver Practitioner, you will assess, support and reassess kinship/foster care caregivers for children in the care of the Director. This role is responsible for:

  • Assessing kin and significant relationships for children/youth
  • Approving/licensing caregivers for fostering
  • Orientation and training of caregivers
  • Supporting the placement of the child with the caregiver (including development of the Support Plan)
  • Administering caregiver files
  • Completing ongoing evaluation and support, re‑assessments and supporting the car...
