Caregiver Position at Extendicare

Become a vital member of Extendicare as a Health Care Aide. This part time role focuses on providing compassionate care to enhance residents' well-being in a supportive environment.
In your role reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, you will be dedicated to assisting residents with personal care, meal preparation, and daily living activities. You will complete required documentation and collaborate with families to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the supervisor's care plan for each resident
• Support clients in personal hygiene and daily activities
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents
• Maintain a safe environment and advocate for residents
Requirements:
• Completion of the Health Care Aide program or equivalent
• Prior experience working with seniors is preferred
