Join CapWest as a Formwork Estimator and play an essential role in our growing formwork division. This position involves creating competitive bids for high-rise residential and ICI projects in the Greater Vancouver area.
You'll oversee the entire estimating process, from initial inquiry to bid submission and post-tender reviews. Collaboration is key, working with project managers and engineers to ensure all project scopes are accurately costed and submitted on time. Your skills in quantity takeoff will be crucial for project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings
• Develop cost estimates incorporating labor, material, and equipment
• Assemble proposals that meet owner and GC specifications
• Identify cost-saving opportunities during design reviews
• Track estimated versus actual costs throughout projects
