Capacity Install Technician, ID Install Team

Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Install Technician to join our growing team within infrastructure operations. The role involves day‑to‑day installation of servers and network equipment, structured cabling, project work, and capacity management. You will install and troubleshoot structured cabling, manage infrastructure inventory levels, physically install network and server racks, and coordinate with data center services vendors. The position requires reporting to a site location and obtaining an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Install, test and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Work with a partner to move enterprise equipment from loading docks.
• Manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
