Join Canada Post as a delivery agent in Campbell River, BC. This temporary on-call Letter Carrier role lets you work outdoors while ensuring essential mail delivery in your community.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for sorting mail, preparing for daily routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. As you navigate your route, you’ll load your Canada Post vehicle and deal directly with customers, all while facing varying weather conditions. Physical fitness is essential as you will regularly lift and carry mail items.
Key Responsibilities:
• Start your day by sorting and preparing deliveries
• Safely drive a Canada Post vehicle
• Deliver parcels and letters to customers
• Return to unload incoming mail at depot
Requirements:
• Class 5 or Class G driver’s license required
• Minimum 3 years safe driving experience
• Ability to lift up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
• Willingness to work in all weather
• On-call availability is essential
